KEY RESULT AREAS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
- Provide Step Youth Forum management assistance
- Ability to think and act quickly and efficiently, responding to as many up to 100 emails and telephone calls daily while maintaining excellent working relationships with foundation partners, schools, youth organisations and the general community
- Reporting issues and follow-up to National Forum Convenor
- Other duties as required by the Foundation Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and National Forum Convenor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB ESSENTIAL
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in relation to event management
- Capacity to work unsupervised, but in concert with others to undertake a range of responsibilities involving dealing with a diversity of Foundation partners and education institutions
- Strong verbal, non verbal written communication skills
- Excellent word processing and desktop publishing skills and experience
DESIRABLE
- Tertiary qualifications and/or appropriate administrative experience
- Strong motivational skills, with the ability to remain calm in a busy, and sometimes stressful environment whilst leading a team to high levels of customer service
- Professional, hardworking, organized and possess a strong attention to detail
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position may require some domestic travel to forum locations
- Full time position - Monday to Friday
- Six month review of this position by the Foundation Board of Directors
- Salary negotiable
